Somerset Wing Chun Kung Fu Club

Grand Master Samuel Kwok is a direct student of Ip Chun and Ip Ching, sons of the legendary Great Grandmaster Ip Man. I first meet GM-Kwok in 1987 and for me my martial arts journey was changed for ever.

He has been preserving and promoting Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu for over 40 years and is the founder of the Samuel Kwok Wing Chun Martial Arts Association, a top world-wide community.

Sifu Kwok's absolute generosity, depth of knowledge  and willingness to share his vast body of knowledge and skill was a complete change to what I had encountered previously.

I had previously done Boxing, Judo, Kuk Sool Won and done Karate, both Wado Ryu and Shotokan but none of these prepared me for the simplicity, directness and effectiveness of the style.

Everything was covered, nothing held back and lead to the start of Somerset Wing Chun Kung Fu as a club.
